FAY WINGATE is a life-long resident of the Roanoke Valley, graduated from Andrew Lewis High School and attended Cornett School of Business.
She has been appraising real estate for the past 25 years while being actively involved in the construction of several new houses as well as remodeling and rehabilitating numerous dwellings. In 1993 she was awarded the SRA designation by the Appraisal Institute and in 1996 the RAA designation by the National Association of Realtors. As a member of the Virginia Association of Realtors, Appraisal Section, she was elected to the Board of Directors in 1997 and served as Chairman in 2002. She is a former member of the Roanoke Regional Homebuilders Association.
Before starting a full-time real estate career, Fay was Supervisor of Financial Services for Roanoke County Schools. She is a former board member of the Roanoke County Schools Education Foundation and served two terms as president. Her knowledge of real estate in the Roanoke Valley as well as business experience qualifies her to handle your real estate needs.
